Nandhini J Prasad, a British-Indian artist (b.1968) honed her skills at the Norfolk Painting School. Known for her vibrant and colourful paintings, Nandhini creates works that are visceral responses to her observations of world around her.  Nandhini paints in the versatile medium of oils drawing from the visual memory to create a dialogue with her viewers through her art.  Nandhini's artistic journey is driven by a passion for exploring the interplay of light and shadow and the subtle nuances of everyday scenes and the quiet moments that often go unnoticed.

Nandhini's skilled draughtsmanship allows her to capture the changing moods of the landscapes with precision and sensitivity. Nature's artistic inclination and familiarity serve as Nandhini's muse, and she finds the studio practice very intimate and contemplative. She believes that art has the power to connect us, to transcend the ordinary, and to reveal the beauty in the mundane.
